After six years of working with monoprinting, often on a large scale, I’ll share everything I’ve learned along the way. This time, we’ll work on a smaller scale as you create your own mini collection of unique prints.

I’ll teach you the tricks of the trade: how to apply and build up paint in layers, how to work with shapes, and how simple materials can create surprising compositions. We’ll work with paper, paint, brushes, rollers and handmade shapes. No two prints will ever be exactly the same, and that element of surprise is exactly what makes monoprinting so much fun.

Experiment, play & make it your own

Using paper and tape, you’ll create your own shapes and compositions by tearing, cutting and masking. You’ll discover how to play with positive and negative shapes, and how a single shape can produce a completely different print each time.

We’re not working towards one ‘perfect’ final piece. Instead, you’ll try, combine and experiment. Along the way, you’ll build a small series of prints that feels completely your own, a mini collection to take home with you.

You’ll work with professional quality materials, and of course there’ll be tea and chocolate
